National Programme for Dairy Development with aim to enhance quality of milk and milk products and increase share of organized milk procurement. Disease Control programme Number of Central Sector Schemes like Scheme on livestock health & disease control (LH&DC) with National Animal Disease Reporting System (NADRS) as a subcomponent. o NADRS is a webbased platform for reporting of animal disease from the level of block veterinary institution on a realtime basis. National Animal Disease Control Programme for Foot & Mouth Diseases (FMD) and Brucellosis (NADCP) with target to control FMD and Brucellosis by 2025 and to eradicate them by 2030 through vaccination. Infrastructure Development Funds Animal Husbandry Infrastructure Development (AHIDF) with corpus of 15000 crore to incentivize investments by individual entrepreneurs private companies MSME Farmers Producers Organizations (FPOs) etc. in dairy and meat processing and value addition infrastructure and Animal Feed Plant. Dairy Processing & Infrastructure Development Fund with 8004 crore corpus to provide loan assistance to Eligible End Borrowers (EEBs) such as the State Dairy Federations District Milk Unions etc. to modernize the milk processing plants and machinery and to create additional infrastructure for processing more milk.
